Do I have to have written the song?

Valleyarm’s synchronisation product is simplest when you are the writer and performer of the piece. If you have written and performed the music, all initial amounts and mechanical royalties will be directed straight to you. If you are putting forward a song composed by someone else  for synchronisation, you must ensure you have all appropriate permissions in place before signing our synchronisation agreement (which stipulates this). Failure to do so and any subsequent repercussions are entirely your responsibility. All mechanical royalties for this music will be paid to the original composer.
